We at STL I-9/3 work as a multi-disciplinary team; focusing on different areas After enrolment child is assessed for 8 to 10 days in different areas like
- Pre learning/ academic
- GMM
- FMM
- Socialization
- Communication
- SHS and DLS
Objectives of this assessment is to make IEP as per level of child’s functioning and requirement.
We at STL I-9/3 branch Work with differently abled student’s .Academics are followed side wise with self-help and daily living skills. Group activities for socialization are also done among which the major task of dining etiquettes is focused very frequent. We focus on dining etiquettes, waiting , serving oneself , use of proper utensils and others and to eat independently as well
STL GULREZ BRANCH
Step to learn's Gulrez branch is for slow learners. Children with all types of disorders are treated here and at the same time different services related to different therapies are also provided. It includes behaviour therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, sensory integration therapy, academics and Nazra.
Here such activities are practiced which help the children with special needs to not only come closer to normal routine of life but also they can easily get admission in mainstream schools(if possible)
